The value of the viscosity of this CRM is traceable to the basic standard defined by the value of kinematic viscosity of double destiled water equal 1,0034 mm2/s or by the value of the dynamic viscosity of water equal 1,0016 mPa . s at 20 oC, the values having been assumed on the basis of ISO/TR 3666: 1998 (E).
The physical quality evaluated by the standard are the kinematics and dynamics viscosity. Standard examples are tested at 20 °C. It is also possible to have standard examples tested at 40 °C, 50 °C and 80 °C depending on a customer's needs.
Viscosity standard examples are distributed in 250 cm3 bottles.
