Calibration Laboratory LabStand
holds accreditation from the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA), a signatory to the EA MLA and ILAC MRA multilateral agreements on mutual recognition of calibration certificates.
The laboratory meets the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
Within the scope of accreditation, we offer comprehensive calibration of piston-operated pipettes (both fixed and variable volume, covering the range from 0.1 µL to 20 000 µL), as well as piston burettes and dispensers (covering the range from 0.1 µL to 50 000 µL).
Calibration is performed by the gravimetric method, in accordance with ISO 8655-6, at the premises of LabStand Calibration Laboratory.
A standard accredited calibration service includes:
• Measurement of volumes for adjustable-volume instruments at the specified test points: nominal volume (100 %), 50 % of nominal volume, and the greater of the two values — the lower limit of the usable volume range or 10 % of the nominal volume.
• Determination of the systematic error (es) — expressed in [µL] and [%].
• Determination of the random error — expressed as the standard deviation [s] in [µL] and as the coefficient of variation (CV) in [%].
Calibration is confirmed by an Accredited Calibration Certificate bearing the PCA accreditation mark, which, in addition to the measurement results, includes information on measurement errors and measurement uncertainty.
Measurement uncertainty is evaluated in accordance with EA-4/02 M:2022.
The reported uncertainty values represent expanded uncertainties corresponding to a coverage probability of approximately 95 % with a coverage factor k = 2.
